Trip 2011 - Singapore Pt 2
Sebenarnya saya dah di beri tugas oleh Mr.H untuk design photobook customer dia. Tapi hati ni meronta-ronta nak update my trip to Singapore Pt 2. Nanti lambat-lambat update, mood hilang , pastu Pt1 tinggal Pt1 jeks.
Kalau tak design the photobook tu karang saya kena bayar my new wallet sendiri... Owh tidak !I really need the new wallet. But the agrement was; I need to design the photobook before tommorow if not I have to purchase the wallet myself. Oh no again!
To Mr.H, I update sikit je ye about Pt2. All about our hotel...
Ni lagi satu masalah bila nak ke Singapore. Mr.H risau pasal hotel price (amboi berjalan nak, hotel berkira yek?!) Iyerla Singapore di ratekan sebagai salah sebuah negara yang hotelnya sangat mahal di Asia Tenggara ye. Kalau dekat Malaysia, Concorde you can get the cheapest approxx RM200 ++ but not in Singapore. Kalau di convert mau rega bilik mencecah RM400 - RM500. A big NO for us. Tujuan ke sana perlu di ambil kira.... Tujuannya adalah untuk berjalan-jalan , makan angin dan hotel adalah tempat untuk mandi dan tidur sahaja.
So puaslah saya mencari, google , cek kat agoda.com , periksa kat lastminutedeal.com , name it... semua saya buat untuk cari cheapest hotel. Cheapest hotel doesn't mean hotel ayam yer... Maaf tapi saya akan berasa tak selesa sungguh untuk menginap di hotel ayam. Pepaham je la...
Straight to the result of searching... Hotel Value Thompson! It's 10-15 minutes walk from Novena MRT and the hotel picture nampak ok. Ni lagi satu cerita kelakar pasal hotel. Hotel ni tak di booking sendiri, my BFF minta tolong her fren kat SG to booked. Rerupanya, member booked dah tersilap hotel la... Its still Value Hotel tapi cawangan lain. Haru or not la...
Hotel Value Thompson tu located adjacent to Balestier road, on Thomson Road. Along the Balestier road there was another 2 same hotel tapi jarak-jarak sikit la location dia. Hotel yang dah disilap book itu adalah Hotel Value Nice... Memula nampak building dia... mengucap jugak la... Dalam hati , alamak cap ayam ke? Don't judge book by the cover ye....
The hotel memang nice di dalam , kira ok la... cuma jauh sikit dari LRT station. Hish... for kami berdua no problem, tapi untuk family yang ada kids sudah tentu tidak kan...
Cerita punya cerita, malam itu kami bermalam di Nice hotel and esoknya mereka akan berpindah ke Thompson Value Hotel . Itu pun tak boleh booked kat receptionist , kena online book and it's much more cheaper with online booking. Nasib baik kat depan receptionist kaunter tu ada set komputer and internet, so they let my BFF do the booking. Alhamdulillah settle jugak dengan kes bilik hotel ni.
Hotel tak provide free Wi-Fi. Kalau tak silap we need to pay SGD4 for 1 hour usage.
Itula salah satu kekurangannya kan.

Owh... for those who drive, harap maklum semasa saya di Nice Hotel ni, parking cuma ada 3 lot jek. Kekurangan no 2 yer... itupun agaknya staff dia dah park. Tapi no worries, keliling tu banyak parking tepi-tepi bangunan, cuma kena jalan sikit but still kena bayar parking la. Kalau tak, the hotel people suggest to park at Shaw Plaza; after 5pm flat rate. The Plaza is around 5 min walk je from Nice Hotel tu. Tapi rasanya parking tepi jalan much more cheaper...
Both pictures show my BFF park kereta tepi jalan je.. 5 minute walk to hotel. Yang bagusnya malam tak payah bayar for parking and esoknya Sunday so again the parking free. Ni tengah tunggu taxi. Nak drive in town? Maybe not during weekend.
